Jimu UAV Robot Launches Game-Changing J160 Agricultural Drone
Jimu UAV (Suzhou, EAvision) robot’s new J160 agricultural drone is rewriting the rules of fruit tree protection. With an 80 kg payload, a maximum take-off weight of 149.9 kg, and a CDSS 5.0 spraying system, it achieves three times the efficiency of traditional drones. Key features include precision spraying, intelligent obstacle avoidance, and multi-scenario operations.
Targeting the fruit tree protection market, the J160 combines high-spec performance with mid-range pricing of CNY 49,999 (around $7 US dollars), signaling a shift in the industry from price wars to technology-driven value competition.

In Guangxi’s Yizhou District, AI is transforming traditional silk farming. Intelligent sensors monitor mulberry gardens, while automated silkworm reeling machines boost efficiency and quality. Farmers now see up to 5x higher yields and reduced labor intensity, with premium silk grades reaching 5A–6A.
The region has also deployed Beidou-enabled machinery, smart livestock platforms, and full-chain agricultural data systems, supporting both domestic and China–ASEAN collaboration. [1]

A new era of weed control is here. Carbon Robotics’ LaserWeeder combines lasers and AI to remove weeds without chemicals, processing 8,000 m² per hour and eliminating ~600,000 weeds. Powered by 42 high-resolution cameras and deep-learning AI, it targets weeds precisely while protecting crops and soil.
China is quickly joining the revolution. Companies like Huagong Technology 华工科技 and university labs are deploying AI + laser solutions at a fraction of Western costs, demonstrating global competitiveness.
